Objective Target The interdisciplinary team of the department industrial applications develops software, which supports the single steps of the product development process with state-of-the-art virtual and augmented engineering technology. Virtual and augmented reality in construction, styling and design helps to optimize processes and to design products more innovatively. The visualisation and simulation of CAD- and CAE-data an the knowledge management in engineering and design are other focuses of the departement.
