Daniel Weber received his diploma in Computer Science from Darmstadt University of Technology in 2008. The topic of his diploma thesis was “Trivariate Bernstein-Bézier-Techniques for finite elements for interactive simulation of deformation”. In this thesis he developed algorithms for simulating deformable materials in real-time. Since 2008 Daniel Weber works as a researcher in the Department for Industrial Applications at the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics. His research interests are physically based real-time simulations with applications in CFD, structural- and continuum mechanics. Furthermore he is interested in parallelization techniques using CUDA on latest graphic hardware. |
